NEWS and FEATURES
New Yawgoog Community Website!
Forging ahead on bold new ground we dedicate this space to Alumni and Friends of Camp Yawgoog as a tool to reconnect and re-establish old friendships online. Welcome to the online gathering place for friends, scouts, parents, campers, staff, troop leaders, and alumni of Yawgoog Scout Reservation.
While the Narragansett Council nor the Yawgoog Alumni Association have yet to endorse this web site, we're hoping that a good response of sign-ups can help them nevertheless, for the good of Yawgoog.

Yawgoog Alumni Association
The Yawgoog Alumni Association is comprised of thousands of Alumni all over the USA and other countries as well. The YAA was founded by H. Cushman "Gus" Anthony in 1980. Its purpose is to keep the "Spirit of Yawgoog" alive and to accent the Heritage of Yawgoog. Alumni are asked to become "active" members by contributing to the organization in the way of annual dues. The amount requested is minimal, so everyone can get involved. You can become:
- a BRONZE member by contributing $25
- a GOLD member by contributing $50 or
- a SILVER member by contributing $75 or
- NEW members: a LIFETIME member for a ONE TIME contribution of $500.
» Pay Your Dues Online.
The actual dues contributions are placed in a "restricted trust" account. The principal cannot be touched ever. Only the interest which this account produces can be used for special projects at Yawgoog each year. Actually, your annual dues is a 'lifetime' gift.
Along with the annual dues, the Association announces an annual project which it wishes to accomplish. If an alumnus wishes to contribute to that project, he or she may. Although the project donations are not a requirement, they are greatly appreciated.
